All Things Craft & Outreach Display...

Has your club been actively finding ways to serve your community this past year? Would you like to share your project or stories to inspire other clubs? Be sure to plan for a display at the Fair and check the box below to let us know to reserve space for you.

What could your display look like? (Each club will have a six-foot table.)  A video or a Power Point slide show playing on a loop on a computer is a great place to start.  If you have props - things you built, planted, fixed or shared - those would be fun and add texture as well as depth to your display. It's the Pathfinder Fair - we'd love to celebrate all the ways Pathfinders are making a difference across our conference.

You can also display crafts or projects you worked on.  Just show everyone what your club has been having fun doing together this year!  Let us know if you have questions.

Have a new Drill Master?

We have a video called Tips for Drill Masters. See below.

Programs in Gym

One huge benefit of using UCA is the gymnasium that we are able to use. This protects us from weather that could negatively effect our programs. We will have chairs set up in the gym for each of our programs.

What about my CPAP?

We understand that a growing number of our Pathfinder family is using and benefiting from CPAP machines. We want you to get the best nights' sleep possible at our event. Increased usage means that we are no longer able to accommodate for the power needs of CPAP users. Each CPAP user attending should make plans now to provide for their power needs through the weekend. Solar chargers, back up batteries, and inverters are all options to consider as you make plans to power your machine.

Power will NOT be available to CPAP users at UCA. It is your responsibility to provide for your power needs - not the responsibility of our coordinators doing camp site layout.

Please come prepared to provide your own power. NOTE: This does not include running your generator through the night. We will be asking you to turn your generators off at curfew. Clubs not complying with this request will be asked to leave.  This is an issue of courtesy, respect and health safety. The coordinators have discussed this at length. Please have a battery to provide for your CPAP needs. These are readily available on Amazon.

If you are looking for battery options, here is one to consider. AMAZON battery link

Teen Cafe

The Teen Cafe will be open Friday night.  Teens can look forward to great interactions and yummy treats.

What about my pet?

UCC Club Ministries has a "No Pets Allowed" policy at our events.

Here's why. While your pet may be the best dog ever, one moment of surprise could end in an injury to your dog or a Pathfinder. We work so hard to keep our Pathfinders safe - why take the risk here? Second, Your animal can... shall we say, "change the environment." Those environmental impacts could include noise, and landmines. Life at our events is better without either.

We acknowledge that some of our team have emotional support or service animals. We ask that if you bring your pet as one of these, you meet the following guidelines:

1. Your animal is on leash at all times when outside your tent or RV.

2. Your animal is wearing a vest identifying it as a support or service animal when in public.

If animals are found onsite without these, our coordinators will be asking you to meet guidelines or remove your animal from the premises.
